PolylonTM
Polylon is a double-braided rope consisting of a 100% polyester braided cover and a 100% nylon braided core. This rope was specifically engineered for utilities, but has a number of industrial, commercial and general marine applications. The construction of this rope provides extremely high strength, very high energy absorption, and very good dielectric properties. A single blue/gold tracer in the cover identifies Polylon. Urethane coatings are available. See the chart below for technical information.
Features:
- Specific Gravity of 1.24
- High-energy absorption
- Extremely high strength
- Good dielectric properties
- Urethane coated cover available
