Military & Climbing Rope
Novatec Braids Ltd. produces several rope constructions used as static lines. Our double braid polyester Starline features a 32 carrier cover construction. A 48 carrier static kernmantle construction is also available. On request, Novablue double braid polyester is built to exceed US military specification MIL-R-24677 and CDN 40-GP-16M. Novagold double braid Nylon type 6-6 will meet US MIL-R-24050D and CDN 40-GP-16M.
Novatec produces a proprietary Weighted Fast Rope for insertion of military and law enforcement or rescue personnel in high downwash or wind conditions. Novatec Braids Ltd. is a Qualified Cordage Manufacturer in the DLA - QSLM Program

Novablue - NOVABLUE™ is our premium double braided polyester rope designed for general marine, industrial, and commercial use where low elongation, high strength, and abrasion resistance are required. US Mil - R - 24677 CDN Mil - 40-GP-16M
Novagold - Novagold premium nylon double braid meets all USA and Canadian mil specs for use in hawsers and slings. Custom length fabrications are available including spliced eyes, chafe, and coatings.
Star Line - Starline double braid uses the same high quality yarns as Novablue but with a tighter 32 carrier cover to minimize snagging and dirt retention. It is supple yet firm in hand and is easily spliced in sizes 1/2" diameter and greater. Exceeds NFPA 1983-6 tensile and elongation requirements
Weighted Fast Ropes - Novatec's proprietary fast rope is designed to minimize rope motion in high wind and downwash insertion or rescue operations. Options include Spectra personnel or gear attachment loops. Ref. NSN-4020-20-004-3920. Patent Pending.
